Hi, I’m April.

I’ve spent nearly two decades building within hospitality technology, from Preferred Hotels & Resorts to Orbitz, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Mews. I’ve worked across brand, OTA, and SaaS environments, developing a deep understanding of how distribution, commerce, and operational systems connect at global scale.

At IHG, I led global connectivity supporting over $5B in annual revenue, working across CRS, PMS, GDS, and third-party ecosystems. I supported executive negotiations with Booking.com and Expedia, managed partnerships with third-party integrators like DerbySoft, and led efforts to evolve IHG’s groups booking capabilities. I remain active in advancing industry standards through HEDNA, OpenTravel, and HTNG/AHLA.

I see what others miss: how different stakeholders in hospitality—brands, SaaS platforms, partners, and customers—actually connect. I've spent my career at these intersection points, and that perspective shapes everything I do. I identify where product and partnerships align to create mutual value. I design co-innovation initiatives that solve real customer problems. I mentor teams to think in ecosystems, not silos. And as AI reshapes hospitality, I'm building the partnership and product strategies that will define what comes next.

I lead with high standards and high care. I align stakeholders, mentor product teams, and bring clarity to complex ecosystems. I build systems that scale, commercially, technically, and organizationally.

Approach & Perspective

Work With Me

I partner with organizations operating complex platform ecosystems—particularly in hospitality, travel, and adjacent industries—where product strategy, partnerships, AI, and intelligent systems intersect. I’m passionate about what I do and am currently completing an Advanced Certificate in AI and Product Strategy at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Ways to engage:

  • Senior-level roles in platform partnerships, ecosystem strategy, or product strategy

  • Advising on platform and ecosystem strategy at enterprise scale

  • Enterprise platform and partnership strategy conversations

  • Industry panels, executive roundtables, and conference speaking engagements

  • Standards and ecosystem collaboration initiatives

If you’re building the next generation of platforms, ecosystems and intelligent systems, I’m interested in the conversation.
